Greetings,
This notice is to inform you of an upcoming emergency hardware upgrade scheduled to take place from December 6, 2011 11:00pm until December 7, 2011 2:00am (3 hour window), Central Standard Time (GMT -6). This maintenance is required in order to increase the stability of the private core network. We will be moving private cab switches to our new backend core device. Switches will be moved in a cab by cab process to limit the impact to other customers. These new devices will provide better resiliency and scalability to handle the current and future requirements of our customers.
We are sending this notification as a courtesy to all non-impacted customers so they are aware of the work being done on the private network. We do not expect to this maintenance to impact any of the servers or VMs. Though if an impact were to occur, there is an action plan in place to restore services as quickly as possible.
