DETAILED DESCRIPTION:
As part of our commitment to regain distribution layer redundancies following the network outage incident last Saturday, we will be decommissioning the old DIST1 switch and moving all customers connected to DIST1 to the new DIST2 / DIST3 setup. This project is scheduled to be performed on Saturday Evening 11/2/2013 starting at 9PM and will commence up to 3AM the following date.

IMPACT:
Customers who are on HSRP setup will most likely see minimum impact on their infrastructure during the maintenance. There may be a brief period of latency and suboptimal routing, but there is likely no outage expected during the maintenance.

Legacy customers who are NOT on HSRP setup or customers with single drop to their infrastructure will see a brief 1-2 minutes interruption as there will be physical network cable move from DIST1 to Dist2 or Dist3. We will follow up with each and every customers who are not setup with HSRP after the maintenance to discuss what can be done to upgrade their connectivity to HSRP setup.
